Complete Protection

The MasterTech™ Complete Protection Program* protects some of the most common areas of your vehicle that are prone to damage, such as your windshield, exterior, or tires and wheels.

Coverage Options

Optional Cosmetic Wheel Replacement Coverage
(Ultra Level Only)

We will replace your wheel that is cosmetically damaged as a result of a covered road hazard and cannot be repaired using normal cosmetic repair techniques. The maximum benefit per incident is $1,000, at a maximum of one (1) use per 12 month period.

A full refund will be provided if you cancel your Complete Protection Program membership within 60 days of purchase, providing no claim has been filed. After 60 days, or if a claim has been filed, your refund will be pro-rated less a cancellation fee.

Certain conditions are excluded such as conditions which existed prior to the purchase of your membership, key replacement within the first 60 days, windshield cracks or chips greater than 6” in length or diameter, dings and dents in excess of 4” in diameter, dry rot, and tires with less than 3/32” tread depth. Dent Protection

The MasterTech™ Dent Protection Program allows for easy and effective removal of dents and dings which will help to maintain your vehicle’s quality.

Coverage Options

Primary: Vertical Dent

The Primary level of coverage includes vertical dent and ding protection for your vehicle up to $500.

Premier: Primary + Horizontal Dent

In addition to the Primary level of coverage, Premier coverage includes horizontal dent and ding protection up to $500.

Ultra: Premier + Cosmetic Bumper

Along with the Premier level of coverage, Ultra coverage includes cosmetic bumper protection. Scuffs and cosmetic scratches located on the front and rear bumper are also covered up to $250*.

Paintless Dent Removal Technique

The Paintless Dent Removal process reforms dents and dings without sanding or bonding. Technicians use specialized hand tools that mold and flex the damaged surface back to its original condition. This technique is limited to steel or aluminum body panels.

* Maximum of one (1) claim for every 12 month period following the contract sale date.

Certain conditions and components are excluded such as conditions which existed prior to the purchase of your contract, dings and dents larger than 4” in diameter, non-metal composite, plastic, fiberglass or carbon fiber body panels, damage due to collision, chipped paint, and misuse or abuse. The MasterTech™ Dent Protection Program is not available in AL, CA, NY, and UT.

Environmental Protection

The MasterTech™ Environmental Protection Program protects your vehicle from environmental elements and unforeseen interior damages that can happen throughout your vehicle ownership.

Coverage Options

Primary: Exterior Protection

The Primary level of coverage includes one (1) application of treatment to the painted exterior, sheet metal surfaces, molding, and trim that will assist in preventing damage to the applied surfaces due to oxidation, bird droppings, tree sap, and acid rain, among others.

Premier: Primary + Interior Protection

In addition to the Primary level of coverage, Premier coverage includes one (1) application of treatment to the interior that will assist in preventing permanent stain damage to the treated surfaces due to food, drinks, blood, and makeup, among others.

Ultra: Premier + Windshield Repair*

In addition to the Premier level of coverage, Ultra coverage includes two (2) applications of treatment to the windshield, and headlights of the vehicle that will assist in preventing damage to the applied surfaces due to oxidation, weatherinduced fading, and loss of gloss, among others.

Chemical Product Information

The proprietary chemical used with the MasterTech™ Environmental Protection Program uses molecular bonding and, unlike other chemicals that sit on top of the surface, the formula adheres to treated surfaces to provide superior protection. To ensure top quality and effectiveness, the chemical is put through rigorous testing using an independent, third-party laboratory.

The proprietary chemical is:

  • Contains zero VOC

The coverages included in this program are limited warranty benefits from the chemical product manufacturer, Eckbond Coatings, Inc., 2903 Saturn St. Unit H, Brea, California 92821.

Certain conditions and components are excluded such as windshield cracks or chips greater than 6”, non-clear coated surfaces (except headlights and windshields), damage caused by road hazards or hail, scratches, rusting, odors other than microbes, neglect, or abuse. Key Replacement

The MasterTech™ Key Replacement Program remedies the increasing cost of replacing your key and key fob by ensuring today’s cost at a future date.

Coverage Options

$450 Benefit

In the event that your key or key fob is destroyed, lost, or stolen, you are eligible for a replacement up to the amount of and not exceeding $450 per year over the full term of the membership.

$900 Benefit

In the event that your key or key fob is destroyed, lost, or stolen, you are eligible for a replacement up to the amount of and not exceeding $900 per year over the full term of the membership.

Motor Club Benefits

Upon purchase, you are automatically enrolled as a member of the SafeRide Motor Club, Inc. This membership provides unique discounts on many different services including lodging, car rental, and entertainment benefits. In addition, SafeRide Motor Club, Inc. can provide you with custom domestic trip routing so that you are fully prepared for any travel needs.

Road Hazard

The MasterTech™ Road Hazard Protection Program covers damage to tires and wheels caused by road hazards, such as potholes, debris, and curbs.

Coverage Options

Primary: Structural Repair & Replacement

If your vehicle comes into contact with a covered road hazard and creates a structural failure in your tire or wheel, we will repair it. If it is not repairable, we will replace the tires, wheels, and tire pressure monitoring system with like kind and quality replacement tires and/or wheels.

Premier: Structural & Cosmetic Repair

In addition to the Primary level of coverage, Premier coverage will repair cosmetic wheel scratches due to contact with a covered road hazard to like kind and new quality*

Ultra: Premier + Rental Car

In addition to the Premier level of coverage, Ultra coverage includes the following benefits:

  • Rental Car Reimbursement

    Ultra coverage provides rental car reimbursement for up to $40 per day for six (6) days, with a maximum of $240 per occurrence when the covered vehicle is held at an authorized repair facility overnight**.

  • Emergency Travel Expense Reimbursement

    Ultra coverage provides reimbursement up to $200 per day, for five (5) days per occurrence for commercial lodging, meals, and substitute transportation, if you are 100 miles or more from your permanent residence and have come in contact with a road hazard covered by your Road Hazard Protection contract.

Optional Cosmetic Wheel Replacement Coverage

We will replace your wheel that is cosmetically damaged as a result of a covered road hazard and cannot be repaired using normal cosmetic repair techniques. The maximum benefit per incident is $1,000, at a maximum of one (1) claim per 12 month period.

The MasterTech™ Road Hazard Protection Program includes towing, fluid delivery, battery start service, spare tire mounting assistance, and lockout service for up to $100 per occurrence for a maximum of three (3) uses every 12 months. Service is provided 24/7.

**Benefit is not payable if you have other substitute transportation or an inflated full-size spare tire.

Theft Deterrent

The MasterTech™ Theft Deterrent Program protects you from a potential financial loss due to vehicle theft by providing a benefit that can be applied towards purchasing a new vehicle. This program also includes anti-theft markings applied to certain vehicle components.

Coverage Options

$2,500 Benefit

In the event that your vehicle is stolen and not recovered within 30 days or is recovered and declared a total loss, there will be a $1,500 benefit paid out to the Warranty Holder, plus a $1,000 replacement allowance towards the purchase of a replacement vehicle from the issuing dealer*.

$5,000 Benefit

In the event that your vehicle is stolen and not recovered within 30 days or is recovered and declared a total loss, there will be a $3,000 benefit paid out to the Warranty Holder, plus a $2,000 replacement allowance towards the purchase of a replacement vehicle from the issuing dealer*.

Primary Insurance Deductible Feature

In the event that your vehicle is stolen and recovered within 30 days, you will be reimbursed either (1) your primary insurance deductible, (2) costs incurred for repair of damages as a result of the theft, or (3) $1,000, whichever is less. (Not available in Utah).

Additional Benefits

Emergency Travel Interruption

This benefit provides reimbursement up to $200 per day, for five (5) days for commercial lodging and meals, if you are 200 miles or more from your permanent residence and the covered vehicle is stolen. (Not available in Utah).

Airfare Reimbursement

The MasterTech™ Theft Deterrent Program provides reimbursement for up to $1,000 for airfare if the covered vehicle is stolen when traveling more than 200 miles from your permanent residence. (Not available in Utah).

Rental Car Reimbursement

Rental car reimbursement is provided for up to $40 per day, for 15 days, with a maximum of $600 for rental car expenses incurred if the covered vehicle is stolen. (Not available in Utah).

Anti-Theft Warning Decal

The Anti-Theft Warning Decal alerts both novice and professional thieves that your vehicle’s parts are permanently identifiable via a traceable number.

*Replacement allowance is not payable if you decide not to purchase a vehicle from the issuing dealer or if the purchase from the issuing dealer is not made within 120 days.

Windshield Protection

The MasterTech™ Windshield Protection Program+ assists in the prevention of windshield damage from gravel, rock chips, and flying debris. A damaged windshield is not only dangerous, but it will also lower your vehicle’s resale value.

Coverage Options

Primary: Repair

The Primary level of coverage includes one (1) product application to the windshield that will assist in the prevention of minor chip or crack damage(s). If it is determined by a licensed repair technician that the damage is unrepairable or is in the acute driver vision area, reimbursement up to five hundred dollars ($500) for windshield replacement is provided.

Premier: Primary + Replacement

The Premier level of coverage includes two (2) product applications to the windshield that will assist in the prevention of minor chip or crack damage(s). If it is determined by a licensed repair technician that the damage is unrepairable or is in the acute driver vision area, the windshield will be replaced with a like kind and quality (Non-OEM) replacement windshield.

Ultra: Repair + Original Equipment Manufacturer Replacement*

The Ultra level of coverage includes two (2) product applications to the windshield that will assist in the prevention of minor chip or crack damage(s). If it is determined by a licensed repair technician that the damage is unrepairable or is in the acute driver vision area, the windshield will be replaced with an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement windshield.
